Summer is almost here! The plans we’ve been making all year for this sunny and festive season are finally going to be carried out, sleepless nights, harsh hangover but ultimately the feeling of freedom and stress free living will be upon us for sometime. So enjoy with another great Claptone track that will nicely set the mood to your day.
Peace!
Mystery Soundcloud artists are the hot new way for established producers to fuck around with new genres without the pressure and threat of blogs and fans unfairly crying sellout.
Here are two of our favorites as of late, the future UK garage stylings of Route 94 (with an EP dropping in June) and the juked up Jersey Club vibes of Trippy Turtle.
Have a listen and let us know if you have any guesses of the true identity of these elusive producers.

From the heart of the night.
We all knew Katermukke label produces only the finest. That’s a fact. But this time, they went so hard, you will just leave your desk, leave whatever you were doing and dance. I know it because I did. The beat is as always, soft and simple, and on top of it, a French « mélodie » is rising, singing Au cœur de la Nuit, (from the success movie « les Choristes »).
This anthem is literally transporting you in an other place. As you listen to the rhythmic you may ear something of a nostalgia of old House-music Tunes, with sounds that might even recall Benny Bennassi, but with the subtlety and taste you can always find in katermukke productions.
Remember, Germans do it better.
Feiern und haben Sie nicht ein Kater morgen.
Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines
We at Le Salon love good music, and we certainly love beautiful women, so when the two come together, its sure to be found here. Robin Thicke somehow is able to concentrate long enough to layer on his soulful crooning, backed up by the hottest vocalist/producer/Daft Punk collaborator of the moment, Pharrell. Sit back and enjoy the view, just make sure your significant other isn’t right behind you!
FDVM - Shake’em Dance
Deep bass lines, soft vocals, and sweet melodies are only a few of the things that characterise the music of this DJ Duo from France. In the past, they have dedicated to releasing monthly podcasts and playing around some of the best clubs in Europe, at times with some of the best DJs out there.
These days, however, they are looking forward to producing some incredible music by experimenting with a variety of instruments and vocals from the past. This is their new track, one that we are proud to introduce to you, a few days after its release. Let us warn you: this is real good.
Great days lie ahead for FDVM and we have no doubt that these beats will boost their presence in the Deep House scene. So check them out, download for free, and reap the benefits!
Darius & Le Crayon - Alicia
For those who recognize the song, the answer is yes! We have indeed posted a remix of Alicia Keys’ famous song “Falling”. At Le Salon we do not fear to go back to basics to impress you even more. If you remember well, we already posted a great remix of the Destiny’s Child a while ago. It is important to say that we are not running out of good tracks and we are not trying to dig back into our teenage music library to keep the illusion. We chose this song because it is a great remix and secondly, it is a great way to introduce you to the artists of this duo.
Friend’s of Le Salon, meet Le Crayon, a young and successful french Dj who already produced with the sexy Kitsune Label. We also have to give a warm welcome to the talented Darius, who has been blessing us with great music for a while now. Together, these two Djs represent the heirs of the golden French Touch era that still persist and shine.
The French touch, broadcasted to you from the Eiffel Tower.
Nina Kraviz is undoubtedly one of the biggest house DJs of the moment, and for good reason. With her always solid bag of early 2000s house and absolutely stunning looks, Kraviz has made her way around the European club scene, with an exceptional Boiler Room appearance or 2 along the way. However, the video above has sparked controversy across the DJ community as some have slammed her for playing off of her sexuality, while others hail her as a symbol of feminine power in the male-dominated electronic music industry. Have a look and let us know what you think!
