We dont normally venture into the mainstream here at Le Salon but the French quartet of Club Cheval brings this Rihanna single just far enough underground to fuck with. With the final touch by international globetrotter and Karl Lagerfeld’s new BFF Theophilus London, this track is more at home in a dark room at 3am than on MTV, and thats exactly what we love about it.

Sit back, twist up, and you’ll realize that Brooklyn does it better.

It’s not throw back thursday but we are gonna take you back to A$APs first album which launched him into the spotlight. I will presume no introductions are needed, as the guy has been in every major fashion magazine, on every radio and appeared on every major music site. However the main stream hasn’t seemed to have its negative effects on his talent and his first track is as dope as his last.

The Chicago rapper King L (King Louie) was hit by a car a couple years back. The accident broke both his legs, bruised his lungs as well as knocked out some of his teeth. He didn’t let that stop him from sharing his talent to the world using his chipped chin as a signature he went on to sign a deal with Epic. His story is inspirational and his music is dope so give this tune that he recently released a listen.
