We dont normally venture into the mainstream here at Le Salon but the French quartet of Club Cheval brings this Rihanna single just far enough underground to fuck with. With the final touch by international globetrotter and Karl Lagerfeld’s new BFF Theophilus London, this track is more at home in a dark room at 3am than on MTV, and thats exactly what we love about it.

Sit back, twist up, and you’ll realize that Brooklyn does it better.

It is after a long wait that we finally welcome back the magnificent Elephant, the nonetheless Cracki Record. As usual, the french label pushes the boundaries to identify the next big trends. Some labels are one step ahead, some are even two steps ahead, but could this be possible that the Cracki records, that signed artists whose styles range from electro minimal to hip hop, is one more time ahead of the game ? What is sure about the Elephant, is that if there is someone worth signing, the Elephant will be the one to sign it. Schultz and Forever, from Denmark, is one of those prodigy whose vocal acoustic track, Two Flowers, will transport you on a journey. Thank you Cracki, Thank you Schultz and Forever.

Bastille - 03. No Angels

Bastille is a south London band that originally started as a solo project by its founder Dan Smith. I wouldn’t go so far as calling their music purely original but they did manage to take some bits and pieces from the music scene around them creating some great tracks.
